Information for Parents

We all want to raise great children.  There are as many different ways to parent as there are children.  Some would argue that some parents these days are trying to be their child's friend rather than their parent.  I invite you to read the article below to see this view from a psychologist and some recommended tips.  ENJOY!

This is the latest mentor text that we have been using to continue to work on making connections by answering open response questions and writing reader's responses.  Each student has been evaluated on their skill of question answering, and we will continue to work on reader's responses.

Here is the latest batch of vocabulary words.  This week we began literacy centres and one workstation is about working with the new vocabulary that we have been collecting.
