Last Thursday, we were blessed to have so many guest readers read to us! In the morning, Mayor Drew Dilkens read "The Pencil" to us after having a lengthy discussion about politics and educational pathways. He also brought a free pass to Adventure Bay to everyone in both grade 6/7 classes!
Next, we had our trustee from the Catholic School Board read us the picture book "Anne Frank".
Then we had a University of Windsor Lancer football player named Grayden Tedasco read "A quiet Place".
Finally, we got the chance to curl up with a good book - or two- and read to ourselves.
Thank you to all the families, friends, and relatives that supported our cause! Our class collected a total of $640.00! Let's see is we qualify for any additional prizes!
