Not Bored with White Boards

As we continue to work on grammar and parts of speech, I decided that we needed to save a bit of paper and practise skills in another way.  Recently we did a "living document" which means that everyone had a Chromebook and as a class, worked collaboratively on writing a dialogue between two fictitious characters.  Everyone had a part:  typing sentences or adding the correct punctuation.  It was fun and different!  This time around, each student had their own white board, marker, and paper towel.  After my lesson about simple present tense, and using auxiliary verbs with present participles, we worked on writing exciting sentences, adding adjectives and adverbs.  We had fun and learned at the same time!
