JDRF Kick-off!

Monday will be our "kick-off" for our Juvenile Diabetes fundraiser.  Paper sneakers will be on sale from Monday until Thursday, for one dollar each.  Students may purchase a maximum of five and will be rewarded for their contribution in "Loonie for License" fashion.  Each student who purchases one shoe will have no homework on Thursday November 17.  Students who purchase two will also earn the right to play BINGO in our class.  Students who purchase three shoes will also be allowed to sit with a friend all day on November 17.  In addition, students who purchase 4 sneakers will have one math period on November 17 when we use the Chromebooks and our Math Prodigy app instead of a typical math class.  Any students who purchase all five will also be entered into a draw for an itunes gift card.  If our class purchases the most, the JDRF foundation will reward us with a pizza party.  LET'S GO CLASS!

At lunch today,  Carlo's Style Show was open for business.  The first customer:  Joseph.  They have found new uses for paperclips.  At least we can see his face now!
