On Friday we took the time to remember all of the brave men and women who have lost their lives, lost quality of life, and those who continue to fight in order to maintain our freedom.  We had a solemn Liturgy of the Word, hosted by Mr. Doyon's and Mr. Cowan's classes.  Our class learned about sacrifice that civilians made during WWII as well (a bit of a different perspective).  Last week I read the non-fiction text called "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" to our class and each of them completed a reader's response for evaluation while they listened.
