Yesterday our class was not assigned homework, but rather they were asked to take home all of their books and do all corrections, review the new concepts in Unit #9, and do some extra independent practice. After reviewing the work that was done in class yesterday, I highly recommend that. If parents or older siblings are available to assist that would be great also. I am finding that our class is able to plug in linear dimensions into formulae to calculate perimeter and/or area, but they are not yet successful in solving problems related to these concepts. Check the textbook for the formulae we are using. If you are looking for some suggested questions to practise, try: page 345 #7; page 348-349 #4,9,10; page 351 #2; page 357 #6,7. If you would like me to check the work that is done, please make sure it is on lined paper with the student's name on it and put it in the IN BOX on Monday. Good Luck!
