Since we just completed our latest unit in our Nelson Literacy resource, we are going to switch gears briefly next week. Our resource, unfortunately does not provide instruction in interpreting and/or responding to poetry. In preparation for EQAO (there has been a poem or two to respond to in every year prior to this), we will be reading and interpreting poetry as well as responding to them by answering open response and multiple choice questions. We will continue to work on Literature Circles and our narratives as well.
