Student-Led Conferences

As you know, term one report cards will be sent home on Monday February 6.  On Tuesday January 31 each student was given a yellow sheet of paper explaining the procedure that will be used next week for Student-Led Conferences.  If you have not already done so, please follow the instructions on the page to select a time slot that works for you.  Please note that I am requesting to see ALL FAMILIES at this time, regardless of a student's level of achievement.  Your child will be presenting a collection of term one work, that you have not yet seen, to you at that time.  If your work schedule does not fit with our conference schedule, please let me know and I will set aside an alternate time for you.

On Monday we had our latest WOW assembly.  From our class, we had four winners (our theme was Contemporary Artist) and Mme. Fontana awarded one more.  Congratulations to all the winners!

At the same assembly Emma, Kendra, and Molly presented a cheque for $1056.35 to Autism Ontario.  This was the money that they raised last week through their ribbon campaign, in honour of the LaPorte Family. Way to go girls!
