Good News!

Congratulations to Emma!  She was the winner of the Good News ticket draw on Friday!  Keep up the good work!

On Friday all grade 7 and 8 students were given permission forms, pledge forms, and an information form related to  the iclimb field trip that is planned for February 22.  All forms and money is due on Tuesday February 21.  It should be a great afternoon!  Maya recommends wearing pants that fit snugly around the waist so they don't fall down during the slide.  I'm not exactly sure what that means, but we will find out. Almost 300 Valentine Candy Grams were sold last week and the grade 7 students will work to prepare them today for delivery tomorrow.  A huge thank you is extended to all those who purchased them, and the students that assisted with selling them during the day and Thursday evening at Student-Led conference night.  Please note that since we could not purchase additional heart-shaped lollipops because our supplier was out of stock, we will be giving some people round ones that come in a variety of flavours.  Thank you for understanding.

The social justice club will be hosting a bake sale tomorrow in support of the work that they are doing in Nicaragua.  Bring your loonies!
