Blog Math
Congratulations to those students who correctly answered last week's blog math question. Unfortunately there were only 3.5 students who did so. The correct response was $1750.
Today we will be going over in class how to solve this. While there are multiple steps, it should not be a difficult question.
Here is the next questions that is due next Tuesday, right after Family Day.
In a home, the family room measures 4 m x 10 m. The homeowner decided that they desire to tile the floor. Each tile is a 50 cm square. How many tiles are needed? If each tile costs $2.19, how much will it cost to purchase the tile for the room? Justify your thinking.
