On Friday we had our first experience with our new set of iPads. After a little time exploring the "Show Me" app, the students were given an open response question in math to solve in partners or groups of three. Each group had an iPad to use and were expected to create a presentation, using the iPad, of their solution. What great fun! Check out the photos.
PLEASE note: This Friday is NOT a P.D.Day for elementary students. Many students came to me yesterday under the impression that it is. This Friday Feb 17 is P.D.Day for secondary students only. Every year one or two of the P.D.Days do not match up and this is the case. Monday February 20 is Family Day so there will not be school for elementary and secondary students that day.
