Latest Fun in the Gym

 This week we tried a new activity in the gym:  Climbers and Sliders.  Check out the photos shown here and ask your child about it.

All grade seven students will be working on another fund raiser:  Valentine's Day Candygrams.  We will be selling the heart-shaped lollipops next week, to the entire student body for $1 each or 3 for $2.  Students may order them for themselves or send them to a friend, teacher, or other staff member.  We will also have a booth set up on Thursday evening during student-led conferences so that parents may have the opportunity to send them to their children.  We will be looking for volunteers to staff the booth Thursday evening.  Please let me know if you are interested.  They will be delivered to those who receive them on Tuesday February 14 (Valentine's Day).  Students from all classes will be involved in selling and preparing the treats.  We will report on the profits at a later date.  All proceeds will go towards their Muskoka trip next year.

Along the same lines, don't forget to continue to sell pizzas.  Order forms went home early this week and are due back on February 10.  Money raised from this initiative will also be put toward your Muskoka Woods trip next year, but only those who sell will earn money toward their trip, directly related to the amount sold ($4 per pizza).
