We Have Been a Little Shady Lately!

For art on Friday, the students had the opportunity to learn about shading, shadows, and gradation when sketching.  They viewed a slide show with samples that were discussed.  We used two types of charcoal (willow and block) on manilla paper, and white chalk on black paper.  Friday was the lesson and practice session.  Next week they will work on a piece that will be evaluated.  Check it out!
