We are Working Hard (not hardly working)!

This week we have been working diligently on understanding and accurately recording all of the steps needed to calculate the surface area of rectangular prisms.  Along the way we have even discovered some short cuts.  It is very important that everyone is recording their work accurately and completely.  This will earn higher communication marks!  Please check out the latest anchor charts on our website.  Don't forget to click the link above to do so!

Image result for multiplicationCongratulations to Steven L. who scored the highest score in our Mad Minute activity this week.  He also scored a personal best!  WAY TO GO!  I am disappointed by the achievement of most of the rest of our class, however.  Many scored far lower than before the holidays.  The purpose of this task is to become proficient in the multiplication facts.  If students are not practising, how will that happen?  I hope you will score much higher next week!
