The Latest News

 A huge thank you needs to be extended to all of the students who persevered and corrected their math work during the last weekend.  I am pleased with the effort and, if parents assisted, a huge thank you is extended to you as well.  Some students expressed that they understand the work better and that the anchor charts were very helpful as well!

As of Monday, our class has collected 62 milk bags since January 4 already.  That is great!  I wish I would have kept track from the beginning.  Keep them coming.

We did our latest Mad Minute exercise on Monday and the summary sheets and last three activities were sent home for a parent signature on Tuesday.  Congratulations to Steven L. who achieved the highest score again.  He is also the only student who correctly answered more than 40 questions in one minute.  No one scored in the 50s or 60 throughout the twelve times we did this.  Please send them back ASAP.  This will be our last activity as it is not producing the desired results and it is using a lot of paper that could be used for something else.  Please practise these skills at home as they are very necessary.
