Cooperative Games

We are currently in the midst of our cooperative games unit in physical education.  Our goals are to improve various locomotor and use of equipment skills, ensuring safety, increasing endurance and stamina, and developing team skills.  So far through gym and DPA we have learned soccer baseball, panic ball, treasure chest, SPUD, and Alaskan Baseball.  Here are photos of Alaskan Baseball - split court version.  Today we discussed pros and cons of this game, and students suggested some modifications that we will try tomorrow.  Can your child explain the game to you?
