OAT-Standing, Indoor Recess, Badminton Doubles

Yesterday, one week into our campaign, there was a huge response for our North of 60 Project.  Pictured here are the boxes of oats that we have collected and there were many monetary donations.  What an OAT-standing start!  Thank you and keep them coming!

Pictured here is a comic strip that some students created during our indoor recesses on Friday.  It was fun to see some students get so creative since we were stuck indoors for so long.

In gym we have been doing mini doubles badminton competitions.  We have learned some basic rules, how to use the lines on the floor, and how to score.  We work in pairs and the "winners" get to stay on the court and the other team is replaced with the students that are waiting.  We are only playing to a score of 5, however, because a full game is to a score of 21 and that would take too long.  While the students play, I keep track of their progress with their grasp, serves, and volleying and record this on my clipboard.
