North of 60 Project Results

I am very pleased to announce the results of our Guardians Give Back project.  Our class set a lofty goal of collecting 300 1 kg bags of oats in three weeks.  While we did not reach that goal, our work plus that of Corpus Christi Parish has smashed that goal.  In total our class collected 107 packages (132 kg) of oats and $192.15.  I went shopping and purchased 40 bags of oats for $119.60.  Therefore our final donation was 147 packages (172 kg) of oats and $72.55.  The money will be used by the St. Vincent de Paul Society to top up other donations for this project that are lacking.  My class brought everything over to the church on Thursday morning.  THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
