Point of View and Dance Videos

We have begun to work on our latest reading strategy:  Point of View.  Our Nelson Literacy resource does not handle this well, so we will be using a series of mentor texts instead.  On Wednesday I read the class the text called "The Boat".  We discussed what point of view is, and I posed a series of questions related to this.  Then they had a group task to complete.

On Friday we participated in the "We Step Up" initiative sponsored by the Social Justice Club.  Thanks to those who donated their loose change.  Check out the videos below of our dance, that was led by grade 8 students and their instructor.
