Family Life Theme One Wrap-up

On Tuesday we completed our first unit of Family Life by having the students demonstrate their understanding of what it means to be a life giver and how many people in our lives assist with our development on many levels.  They completed two open response questions that have been evaluated.  Shown here is the anchor chart that we created together as we learned about these areas and used them when analyzing anecdotes in our textbook that demonstrated many of these in combination.  We are also working on the idea that students at the grade six level should now be beginning to seek out ways that they can give back to others (such as community service) rather than always expecting that things are done for them.
