Can You Be-LEAF It?

 On Tuesday we examined leaf samples that some of our classmates collected on Monday while the rest of the class was at the Cross Country meet.  We learned how to use real classification trees that scientists would use and we were able to identify many different species of trees that are found on our school property.  Ask your child what we did if we were uncertain of the species name, because our classification trees did not have enough specific information.
