On Monday, we prepared for our viewing of the play.  I prepared a synopsis of the plot for the students and we watched a trailer from Utube.  We also reviewed in advance, the questions that we are required to respond to.  On Tuesday we braved the elements and travelled to Holy Names High School to see their drama club's production of High School Musical.  Mr. Radigan, the head of the Arts department, told us that approximately 115 students were involved in the play, including music, make up, set design, stage hands, costume staff, and actors/actresses.  Our seats were fantastic!  We were very happy with the play and we appreciate all of the work that went into learning the lines, songs, and choreography.  In the afternoon, we critiqued the production which means that we looked at the creation of emotion, use of technology to create tension, our likes and dislikes, as well as elements that we would change if we could.  It was a great discussion.
