After working on that, each student used a graphic organizer to brainstorm and craft their own personal mission statement. After receiving peer and teacher feedback, they have published them. Check them out when you come for Meet the Staff Night!
On Friday I read the mentor text pictured here to the class for an integrated Religion and Literacy lesson. After a brief discussion, the students were asked to write a diagnostic paragraph to answer the question: What does following the "Golden Rule" mean to you? Ask your child what that means.
