Learning About Virtues

On Monday the students were given the task of matching 10 virtue names with their definition.  The catch was that they had very challenging wording.  As a support, we had one copy of the Catholic Catechism in class and I had previously uploaded the Youth Catechism to our website for everyone to use (check it out - each student should be able to find it for you).  Once the students were shown how to use these resources, it was a "piece of cake".

We will be learning about virtue, how to recognize virtuous people in our lives, and trying to develop virtue in ourselves, especially related to decision making.  See how this can work into your discussions around the meal table!

Has/have your child(ren) been using the anchor charts that can be found on their respective pages of our website?  Click the link above, especially if math anchor charts would be helpful for math homework.
