Cupcake Basket and Electricity

There has been a great response to the call for items for the cupcake raffle basket that our class is putting together.  As you can see there is quite a variety of items donated.  Keep them coming!  The person who is lucky enough to win this basket will have a year's supply of baking items!  Please ensure that the edible items that you send in are not expired (please check the date on the package).  Thanks!

We have been working on our electricity work and I can see that many students are becoming more enlightened every day.  It was shocking when the lemon battery that we constructed did not illuminate the LED, but stay tuned...... we will try more bright ideas.  All of this is fun learning while conducting experiments using the steps of the scientific method.  We are learning about making hypotheses, recording observations, and making conclusions.  We are sure to get a charge out of future activities, tasks, and experiments.
