Working Hard... or Hardly Working?

We continued to work hard on math today as we make final preparations for the unit test on Monday.  Today we continued to focus on division, but the focus was understanding what the remainder means and what to do with it when problem solving, and recording our thinking properly when solving word problems.  Typically students' marks in communication on math evaluations is low at the beginning of grade six as they work toward mastery of these expectations.  They all have MULTIPLE examples in their workbook of what is expected.
