Are You a Bucket Filler?

  On Friday we viewed the mentor text "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" by Carol McCloud.  We used it to compare it to the stories that we have been reading out of our Religion text and the scripture we have found in the bible which tells us that we are called to be a "light" to others the way that Jesus was and is a light for us.  We have also crossed referenced these ideas to the Ten Commandments.  The students are responding to some open response questions so that I can evaluate their understanding of these ideas and how it can be applied to our daily lives.

Are you ready for the math test that will be held tomorrow morning?  Hopefully you used all of the materials that you were instructed to take home to review the concepts of unit two this weekend!
