Yesterday we had our final literature circle meeting. I am quite disappointed with the number of students did not finish the weekly reading and/or the written work that was due. Some students complained about the length of their book, but I reminded them that they are the one who selected it and that it is their responsibility to use a recess to stay on top of things if necessary. All duo tangs were collected and evaluated. They next step is working on the group book talk. That will happen today and tomorrow. Presentations will happen on Monday. Check out the photos.

On Tuesday the grade six students travelled to the Windsor Police Training Facility to participate in a VIP presentation. I did not accompany them because I stayed with the grade seven students, but her is a link to see what they got to see and do. Click here to view the article.
