This week both grades have been working to review and understand what decimals mean. We have related them to fractions and mixed numbers, as well as represented them using drawings and number lines. We have reviewed and used the place value chart with extended columns. Yesterday, in order to practise ordering decimals from least to greatest and greatest to least, we used our dice and white boards in game fashion. Check out the photos and ask your child about it.

Special note for grade seven history students: As it was noted on our Google Classroom on Monday, our next evaluation will be held on Wednesday January 18. In order to be well-prepared for it, I have assigned the task of watching all of the videos that I have uploaded to the classroom for this unit. There are five of them on the January 6 post. They are all brief and easy to understand, but important. Please make sure you do so before Wednesday. Thank you.
