Literature Circle Meeting #1

As you remember, on Monday the whole class perused 8 titles so that they could make their selection for our literature circle work.

On Friday March 27 we held our first Literature Circle meeting.  Each student was expected to present their response to the reading they did for the first week, based on the role they had, to their group.  After that, each student participated in a metacognitive activity, evaluating their work and the work that their group did.  I collected their duo tangs and returned their books to them on Monday so that they had immediate feedback.  This process will continue for the next three weeks.
