Yes, It's True!

       
  Yes, it's true!  Our class will be awarded "Class of the Week" on January 22, 2015.  As a result, Arms Bumanlag from AM800 will bring the whole class breakfast and backpacks from Monarch Basics.  We will also receive a certificate for our classroom.  Congratulations Class!

As a result, we have to take care of some "housekeeping" items beforehand.  First of all, each student will bring home a "Full Release and Indemnity" form today that must be completed and returned to me at the school.  Please return it by Monday January 12, 2015.  This form grants permission for our voices and/or photos to be used by AM800 for promotional purposes on the air and their web site.  Click here to see what it could look like.

They have also sent me a long list of contest rules as well.  One important one to note is that only students present on January 22 will receive the breakfast and backpack.  We cannot save those items for anyone who is absent or late, so please plan to be prompt!

For those of us who have dietary concerns, here is a list of the ingredients in the breakfast:

Hotcake Syrup: Glucose-fructose, sugar, water, natural (vegetable source) and artificial maple flavour, potassium sorbate, caramel colour.

Hotcakes: Water, enriched wheat flour, whey, corn flour, soybean oil, whole egg, sugar, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate), high fructose corn syrup, dextrose, emulsifier (propylene glycol monostearate, soy monoglycerides, sodium stearoyl lactylate), soy lecithin, salt, artificial flavour,

xanthan gum, colour (carrot extract).

Tune in to AM800 on the morning of Friday January 16 at 8:20 AM for the official announcement (we will be listening in our classroom).  Then, after the visit, AM800 will air our interviews and information about us on Friday January 23.
