Good News and War on Words

 Congratulations to this week's good news ticket winners:  Devon and Mahleik!  Keep up the great work!

Our first group of students have successfully presented their vocabulary of the day.  Many wonderful words have been brought in already!  We have tried hard to include them in our daily discussions so that the students feel comfortable with using them.  Some students have begun to infuse them in their writing also.  Once the pocket chart is full, the words move to a container by the word wall so that they are accessible to all.  Students are encouraged to retrieve them and use them as often as possible to expand their repertoire of sophisticated vocabulary.

Please note that since all students have not yet written the math test, that it will not be returned to the students until all are complete.  Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
