Advent is Here!

Yesterday marked the first Sunday in Advent.  We have discussed what Advent is, and what Catholics do to prepare for Christmas.  In conjunction with that, we learned a new technique in art:  collage.  We are currently working on collaged Advent wreaths for practice.

What does your family do to prepare for Christmas?  Here are some ideas that can assist.

We also began working with Cartesian planes in small groups in math.  We learned how to correctly write ordered pairs, and how to describe the locations of vertices of figures on a grid.
