Math News
We performed our weekly mad minute activity on Tuesday this week because of the math test that was held on Monday. The mood in the room was that of motivation and it sure showed in the results. Congratulations to Joe who scored the highest level this week. Other students met or exceeded their personal best this week. Congratulations to: Evan, Sabin, Steven M., Julie, Owen Nick, Joe, Chantel, Nate, Fletcher, and Alanna. This was the third in the latest series of tests, so the three of them and the metacognition sheet will be sent home today for a parent signature and student reflection.
It is great to see that our class is beginning to develop their multiplicative thinking. Most students correctly answered last week's blog math question, but four students had to stay in for recess to complete it because they were not completed on time. Here is the new question. It is due on Tuesday December 8 at 8:10 AM.
