Cartesian Planes

On Wednesday we worked on Cartesian Planes.  This is not a new concept for grade six, just the vocabulary is new.  We now refer to the zero on the axes at the origin, the work we do is now called plotting, and the exact location of a point (where two grid lines intersect) is called an ordered pair.  We had fun working in groups to explore and practise this skill.
