Using Technology in Many Aspect of the Curriculum

We have learned how to create figures, measure the angles and side lengths, and label the vertices using Geometer's Sketchpad.  First we worked with a partner to explore the program and do some practice questions.  Next each student worked independently to complete the assigned task.  Ask your child which they prefer to do:  Construct figures by hand or by using the computer.

Please note that a science test is scheduled for Monday November 17.  Students will be able to bring home their duo tang and textbook beginning November 12.  This evaluation will be an open book test, meaning that the students may use both their duo tang and text during the test.
