Microscopic World

In Science, we have learned the basics of the microscope and why they are useful.  We even got the chance to view some prepared slides and record our findings.

Science textbooks and duo tangs were sent home today.  Some students have some work to complete because they did not catch up on missed work after an absence.  Please note that we did not cover all of the sections of the textbook because it does not align with the grade six curriculum.  The portions that we did do are sections:  1,2,3,4,5,7,10,11.  Also it is VERY important that the students know the impact that humans are having on biodiversity.  (hint hint)





On Tuesday we celebrated Remembrance Day by attending a lovely Liturgy of the Word prepared by the grade 1/2 class and the grade 3/4 class.  Our class was very respectful!  Lest we forget!
