Transformational Geometry

We have been working hard on our latest math unit.  Transformational geometry involves translations, reflections, and rotations.  We have been using games, and other strategies to learn the vocabulary and details of the work.  Some helpful tools have been Miras, transparencies with washable markers, tracing paper, grid paper, rulers, pattern blocks, and pentaminoes.  Check out the new anchor charts on the Anchor Chart page of our website.
Today's classroom Lenten Promise is:  When someone is being made fun of, you must tell them to stop.
