The Latest and Greatest!

Last evening the thank you/welcome cards that our class wrote to the future JK Guardians were mailed.  The students did a fine job on them and I am sure that the girls and boys will enjoy them.  Nice work!

Ready for the Mailbox!

Did you know that the latest book talks that we are working on are biographies/autobiographies?  Each student selected a text about someone who is famous and/or has achieved something significant in their life.  They read them during independent reading, are currently working on their third reader's response about them, and are preparing book talks which will be presented after the March Break.  They are discovering that it is interesting to learn about real people.

Today we began working on our new dances that will be for evaluation.  We will continue after the March Break, so be sure to have your music at school on March 20.

Don't forget that tomorrow is our reward for winning the door decorating contest.  Each student will receive three pieces of pizza.  Please bring appropriate snacks, beverages, etc.
