Pictured here you will find the latest mentor texts that we have been using in our class to hone and extend our skills at making inferences. Ask your child about the types of inferences we had been making (there are four) and about the plot of these books.
Shown here is a video we watched in class yesterday. We are learning about the anointing of King David, why Bethlehem is called the city of David, and how Jesus is related to all of this. We also read 1 Samuel 16:1-12 from the old testament. Ask your child about it and view this video if you are interested in where all of these names, that we hear about in church, come from.
