Blog Math and Inferences

Here is the next question that is due on Tuesday December 13 at 8:10 AM:

A piece of cable is 8.5 cm long and has a mass of 52 grams.  What will the mass of a 10 cm length of the same cable be?  Justify your thinking.

Our latest reading strategy is making inferences.  Please be sure to check out the latest anchor chart!  One of the mentor texts that I read to the class was "Feathers and Fools: by Mem Fox.  We use this text to make predictions, decide on character traits, infer about characters and the setting, and extend our ideas to the outside world.  We even answered an open response question about the text that caused us to infer.  Check out the photos.
