On Tuesday we participated in an assembly led by Leslie from the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She informed us about the purpose of the foundation and what we should be doing to keep our heart healthy. We saw some videos and she explained how our school was selected to participate in the "Jump Rope for Heart" day on June 25. That promises to be and active day! Stay tuned.
On Wednesday we had a brief lesson about Roman Numerals. The students had inquired about this earlier in the year and I promised that after EQAO we would talk about it. They seemed very interested. We also discussed where in real life they would or have seen them. Here is a visual to assist with their learning.
