More Fun!

On  Wednesday afternoon, the entire school engaged in FUN Day!  In addition to the various fun and soggy events that everyone participated in, there was even a fire truck present that used its "peacock" nozzle to soak the students.

VIP Graduation Day!

What a great day!  We began our festivities by Mrs. Colautti's and Mrs. Coates's classes playing a game of Ultimate Frisbee outside before the lunch recess.

Then we ate.  Wow!  What amazing food and beverage were donated by the families!  Everyone had their fill - multiple helpings!

We viewed a power point presentation about all of the great community service projects that each student participated in.  Although the requirement was ten hours, some students went above and beyond that expectation.  The following students were given extra gifts from Staff Sergeant Mizuno in recognition of their efforts.  The following students completed between 20 and 101 hours of community service from September to May.  Way to go!
Next, each student received their certificate, compliments of the Windsor Police Service, and VIP t-shirts, compliments of the St. Gabriel SAC.  Emily thanked Staff Sergeant Mizuno for her work and support this year and presented her with a small token of our appreciation.
Finally, there was a signing frenzy and delicious graduation cake.  YUM!

Congratulations to the 2013-2014 VIP graduates of St. Gabriel School.
